Massage Therapy

The use of Swedish and other massage techniques to assess and treat the joints and soft tissues of the body. This aids in determining the best course of treatment to reduce pain, increase range of motion, rehabilitate injuries and reduce physical symptoms of stress and anxiety. Pressure can vary from very light to deep depending on the goals of the massage and personal preferences.

Manual Lymph Drainage (MLD)

is a sequence of very light repetitive massage techniques that help to stimulate the movement of lymphatic fluid from an area of congestion in the body to less congested area and eventually out through the body’s elimination system. These techniques use no lotion or oils and may be an option for skin or scent sensitivities.

Heather graduated from the Massage Therapy program at Centennial College in 2006. She is a member of College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO) and the Registered Massage Therapists Association of Ontario (RMTAO) and Lymphedema Association of Ontario.

She has completed lymphatic taping course with the international Vodder school . She is an ADP authorizer for compression garments. Heather volunteers as a Student Ambassador for the RMTAO.
